that birth is a normal, natural and healthy state of a
womans life. My classes are designed to instill
confidence in the birthing family in a fun environment
and to:
- Promote Childbirth as a normal, natural and
healthy process which profoundly affects women
and their families
- Assist women and their families to discover and
use strategies to facilitate a normal, natural, healthy
pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and early
parenting confidence.
- Describe how interventions and complications
influence the normal course of pregnancy, birth,
breastfeeding and early post partum.
- Provide information to support and encourages
attachment between babies and families
- Assist families in makinf informed decisions for
childbearing.
- Teach women to be advocates for birth choices that
promote natural and normal birth.
- Increase a womans confidence in her ability to give
birth normally.
A Lamaze series consists of 12 hours of instruction
broken into either 4-3hour classes or 2 6-hour weekend
classes.
A private series in your home is $200.
If you join a class of no more than 4 couples the fee is
$125 and will be held at various locations.
